Institute of Genomics & Integrative Biology (IGIB), desires to engage qualified incumbents on purely temporary basis under the following projects:
Post: Project Assistant/JRF
- No. of Posts: 1
- Project: Technological improvement of a process of biological reduction of AOX, colour, COD and BOD of waste water emanated from large pulp and paper industries.
- Eligibility: First class M.Sc. in Microbiology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Life Sciences.
28 years- Age Limit: 28 yrs
Fellowship(Rs. per month):12, 000 + HRA
Post: Project Assistant
No. Of post: 5 to 6
Project - 1 NCL-IGIB joint research initiative.
Project - 2 Nano materials and Nano devices for application in health and disease
Eligibility: First class M.Sc. (in any branch of Biology (including Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology etc)/Physics/Chemistry/
Mathematics/Statistics/Bioinformatics)
Desirable: Experience in related field.
Age limit: 28 to 37 Years
Stipend: Rs. 10000/- to Rs. 18000/-per month depending on qualification and experience
Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidate as per Govt. of India instruction and the duration of the post may be extendable up to project duration.

Engagement is for the project and on behalf of the funding agency and the tenure shall be co-terminus with the duration of the project. Contract may be terminated any time by giving one-month notice by either side. The applicants will have no claim implicit or explicit for consideration against any CSIR/IGIB post.
